Dr. Sanders’ journey into Chiropractic began at a young age. “I have always been interested in the sciences, particularly health sciences. I started reading nutrition and exercise physiology texts in the seventh grade. By the time I began college I had developed a strong interest in becoming a Chiropractor.”
It was after suffering a debilitating injury and having Chiropractic care successfully restore his health that Dr. Sanders knew where his heart was.
Dr. Sanders remains committed to his philosophy and passion in Chiropractic. From 2011-2020, Dr. Sanders has been elected by his peers to serve as an Executive Officer in his district of the Texas Chiropractic Association. In 2016-2020 he was elected to the Board of Directors of The Texas Chiropractic Association. In 2019 Dr. Sanders was awarded the prestigious H. Ford Johnson Membership Award by the Texas Chiropractic Association. Further he is a member of the American Chiropractic Association. In addition, Dr. Sanders remains active in the community and is currently serving as the Vice President of the area Chamber of Commerce.
Dr. Sanders is skilled in several techniques including Webster, Diversified, Thompson, Flexion-Distraction, Activator, trigger point therapy, myofascial release and proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation. Dr. Sanders also a member and certified by the ICPA in Webster Technique, a specific technique, commonly utilized by pregnant women, to reduce stress on the pelvis and low back.
Dr. Sanders received his Bachelor of Science Degree from The University of Texas at Dallas and his Doctorate at Parker University. Dr. Sanders feels everyone deserves to be healthy regardless of ability to meet the expense.
